Kathy Moore is a filmmaker based in Newcastle, New South Wales, Australia.  Kathy has worked on film projects all over Australia, large and small, Producing, Directing, and Production.  She has won awards for her animated short film documentary worldwide called "A Boy and a Ball'.    

In collaboration with Tyler Waters (Producer), they set out to make a beautifully crafted film about the struggles and hope for those with gender identity battles. The inspiration and driving force of the film were to create a sense of community of self-worth, and whilst the story has elements of torment, it is to inspire an audience to feel their journey has become more hopeful and 'Unbroken'.  

This creative team are now in pre-production, in which they hope to go on creating a series of honest and heartfelt documentaries, 'A Day in a Life,' based on our inspiring local LGBTQI community and to give the audience a little insight into how this may look and feel from day to day. 

Tyler Waters is a Newcastle-based creative who has created many short films as a writer, director, producer, dop, editor and actor. Growing up in the country, he is no stranger to hard work, but the most demanding challenge has been his journey within. Tyler has a passion for the emotional well-being and mental health of young people, especially those who are struggling with gender identity within our community.

Tyler has a diploma in counselling and Certificate 4 in mental health. He is finishing his degree in social work with the view of working within the mental health sector as a peer support therapist.  The passion to make films that can tell a story respectfully and beautifully is an art. I believe we have done this through Unbroken, receiving to date 44 awards worldwide.
